With more than 12 years of experience in law working as paralegal and attorney at law, Kristel has vast experience in the areas of real estate, commercial and corporate law. Kristel is an expert in closing procedures, closing statements, client services and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Luis Felipe Gamboa Camacho was born and raised in San Isidro de El General, Perez Zeledon. Throughout high school and while he was obtaining his degree in law, he managed a local family business where he learned business management and customer service skills. Luis Felipe is known in the community as a respectful businessman and family man.
He joined the Board of Attorneys of Costa Rica in December of 2012 and has worked for Uvita Law Firm for almost 7 years. He is an attorney at law and notary public in Costa Rica.
Luis Felipe is mostly engaged in notary law for Uvita Law Firm and is experienced with vehicle transfers, corporations, powers of attorney, civil marriages, wills and testaments, notary acts and corporate law.

Originally from Pérez Zeledón—just an hour from the coast—she has been part of the BahÃa Ballena community since childhood. Over the years, she has witnessed the area’s remarkable growth alongside its residents and investors.
ELIZABETH BARRANTES E.
Paralegal
Elizabeth is fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal translation skills. She has her bachelor’s degree in business management. She has worked in customer service for over 7 years.
She is currently a paralegal with Uvita Law Firm and works with the verbal and written translation of documents.
Elizabeth is key to our team that notifies the annual duties to our clients regarding corporations, properties, taxes and informing our clients of new regulations.

Daniela, a Costa Rican who was born and lived in the USA, is fluent in English and Spanish. She is also studying French and Korean.
Daniela is an attorney at law in the process of becoming specialized in tax law. She also has vast experience in customer service. She works with the verbal and written translation of documents.
She also forms part of the immigration team assisting in the residency process for our clients.
MAUREN ZUÑIGA A.
Office Assistant
Mauren is currently pursuing her law degree. Mauren is also a long-time resident of the Uvita area and has assisted for Uvita law firm since 2018.

Reception
She has been working as a volunteer with nonprofits for the last 4 years helping girls in difficult situations and with environmental institutions.
She strives to provide quality service by communication, translation and coordination for the clients of Uvita Law Firm.
She is a great asset to our team and she is happy to help you in the reception area.
Emma Solano Penland
Office Assistant
Emma supports clients with due diligence for property purchases and sales, translations, and coordination of client meetings and institutional requests, including arranging electric meter installation, transferring water concessions, and assisting with bank account openings.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Emma brings a positive, can-do attitude to everything she takes on.
